“Ghana Celebrities Storms Daddy Lumba’s Birthday Party To Show Love. This is pure showmanship at its peak

Renowned Ghanaian highlife musician Daddy Lumba celebrated his 60th birthday on September 29, with a grand event titled “Daddy Lumba @ 60” held at Bay View Village, Atomic Junction in Accra. The celebration was marked by an all-white dress code and attended by family, friends, fans, and numerous celebrities from the creative arts industry. Notable attendees included Ofori Amponsah, Serwaa Amihere, Okyeame Kwame, Nana Ama McBrown, Ras Kuuku, Empress Gifty, and many others.

Founder and leader of the Universal Spiritual Outreach, which is popularly referred to as the Ajagurajah Movement Was visible at the event with him coming to the stage to spread money on Daddy Lumba as he performed.

2011 Ghana Music Awards nominee Enoch Nana Yaw Oduro-Agyei, known professionally as Trigmatic also graced the occasion to support the highlife ace @DL. He was in fact one of the fisrt musicians to appear at the event location. His turn to perform was postponed severally but was calm till it was time to hit the stage. He earns our respect for his composure and and gentle attitude towards the industry.

Television Female Newscaster of the Year Award at the 2018 Radio and Television Personality Awards and is recognized as the first Ghanaian to win RTP Awards’ Best TV Newscaster of the Year three consecutive times. Serwaa Amihere was on her feet all night and even joined Daddy Lumba on stage to perform one of DL’S SONGS. Adding up to the list of Radio and television personalities who came to support the DL @ 60 BIRTHDAY Party.

A significant moment during the evening was an unexpected performance by media personality Serwaa Amihere, who sang one of Daddy Lumba’s well-known songs alongside him. The crowd responded enthusiastically to this collaboration.

The event commenced at 8 PM and lasted for six hours, filled with music, dancing, and drinks. Daddy Lumba took the stage to express his gratitude towards those who attended and reminisced about his illustrious musical career. He performed several of his popular hit songs which delighted the audience.
